Message: I developped mybestbb when I decided to stop hosting phpBB forums on my dedicated servers. phpbb is a big thing , it had too much security problems at the time i was hosting phpbb forums, and the php code of phpBB is pretty complex. Furthermore phpBB is often using too much ressources on the hosting dedicated servers. MyBestBB is based on punbb, a limited, but well written, very fast and secure forum, with clean and easy to read and understand PHP code. IMHO, where you can run 10 phpBB you can run 100 punbb, on the same server/CPU/RAM . . . MyBestBB adds code  ( and more than 20 features ), so its not as light, as fast,  or as secure as punbb but . . . still faster than phpBB and more easy to customize at the PHP code level. Concerning security, we try to always apply all the security fixes from punbb ( MyBestBB is a complete fork of punbb 1.2.* and I always backport any security fixes from punbb as fast as possible ). J'ai essayé deux utilitaires de désarchivage sans succés..... Ce n'est pas le mode de compression qui me pose un problème car je désarchive souvent le tar.gz.
